Paul Firth, MD, FAAP

Paul grew up western Oklahoma graduating high school from Hollis, OK, followed by undergraduate work at SWOSU in Weatherford.  He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his Pediatric Residency in 1998 at the Children's Hospital of Oklahoma.  Since opening his practice in Elk City in 1998 he has treated thousands of western Oklahoma children. 

His current professional interests include areas related to child psychiatry.  Although he still continues to see a general pediatric population, he treats many children with ADD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and oppositional-defiant disorder.

Salena and her Family

Salena Dixon, APRN, CPNP-PC

Salena is a pediatric nurse practitioner that has worked with Dr. Firth for the last twelve years.  Before coming to Elk City, Salena practiced as a pediatric nurse at the Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center for 8 years.  She specialized in the care of children with cancer and blood disorders as well as took care of children with diabetes, cystic fibrosis and various other medical conditions that required hospitalization.  Salena received her Master's of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 and subsequently became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.  Salena has lived in Elk City since June of 2005, she is married to Toby Dixon and has 3 children.   She works with Kaplan University, the University of Oklahoma, and several other nurse practitioner programs as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students.  Salena is interested in wellness care and working with infants and children with developmental disabilities.  A little known fact about Salena is that she loves to crochet in her free time.

Kathi Henderson APRN CPNP-PC

Kathi has been with Paul Firth Pediatrics for eight years.  She previously worked for The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center, her experience includes Neonatal ICU and Case Management.  Kathi received her Master's of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and subsequently became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.  Kathi has lived in Elk City since June of 2009 and is married to Ted Henderson, she has 7 daughters and 7 grandchildren.  She trains nurse practitioner students from multiple nurse practitioner programs including the University of Oklahoma.
